We proposed messe and convention facilities as a completely new development strategy for Makuhari district of Chiba Prefecture ; proposed a new international city center for the 21st century that integrates employment , residence, recreation and education to trigger a new urban infrastructure ; and participated in the creation of the master plan. This high-profile project is a leading model that indicates paradigm for city center in matured society. |

We proposed and realized Makuhari Messe , a core facility forming a new city center. It opened the era of conventions. Taking advantage of the success generated by Makuhari Messe, the construction of group of offices. hotels and commercial facilities for the new city center was promoted. |

We also participated in the town management of " Makuhari Baytown " that is responsible for " residential " function of the new city center. The scope of our responsibilities was general plan, urban design, planning and design coordination, basic design, execution drawing and supervision. Today, new streetscapes and communities with urban residence spaces representing Japan which will eventually become a model of 21st century have been completed one after another. |
